This position would be at one of our summer campuses in New York (Brooklyn, LIU), Boston (Tufts), or Los Angeles (CA State Northridge). To lead and supervise course participants on off-site and on-campus activities and trips, meal times and bed times at the center. This position requires considerable amounts of walking on guided tours, carrying sports equipment from the center to sports fields and moving furniture in preparation for indoor activities.
The full-time work week is comprised of morning, afternoon and/or evening shifts, with at least one full day off per week; shifts may vary with split hours in the morning and evenings.
Residential Activity Leaders are full-time temporary staff. You will receive a compensation package that includes room & board, and a weekly salary (to be paid bi-weekly). Full-time work consists of 40 hours per week (8 hours per day according to California Labor Law requirements). In addition to your regular pay, you will be paid for any overtime hours worked at the applicable overtime rate(s) as required by law.
A flexible work approach towards the position with the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays is required.
