Embassy Summer Academy is an elite summer school offering professional sports, creative and academic tuition alongside English language lessons.
Our Courses Students who attend our summer school courses receive a combination of English language and a comprehensive programme of activities and excursions. The activity programme will include daytime and evening activities and one half-day and two full day excursion per week.
As an exclusive boarding school, most students will take part in specialist courses where they receive English language lessons plus extra instruction in their chosen programme. The courses that we offer include Multi-Activities, Elite Football, Golf, Horse Riding, Tennis, Art and Design, Dance, Sailing, Outdoor Adventures, Intensive English and Summer Academic Study. Summer Academic Study is a Non EFL multiple subject course for Intermediate level Students.
Job Purpose: To ensure that the activity programme is effectively and enthusiastically promoted
To ensure customer satisfaction in the leading of activities and trips at your centre
To enthusiastically promote the Activity Programme
To attend all activity and excursion briefings
To ensure adequate preparation for all activities
To set up and lead activities and trips
To lead students on excursions in a professional manner
To maintain proper levels of student discipline, safety and welfare
To carry out residential duties, including meal, bedtime and night time supervision duties
Promoting and Safeguarding the welfare of students for who you are responsible for and with whom you come into contact with.
Maximise student and group leader satisfaction by ensuring their experience meets or exceeds their expectations
Play an active role in the development of student’s life skills throughout their Embassy experience
To Provide professional specialist, imaginative and varied Arts and Design programme for all levels for 8 hours each week on a weekly basis in agreement with the Activity Manager.

Qualifications & Training:
QTS, PGCE or equivalent Art & Design Cert (Essential)
Educated to A Level standard or equivalent (Desirable)
Valid First Aid Certificate (Desirable)
In EFL Qualification (CELTA/TESOL) (Desirable)
Experience of working with minors (Desirable)
Summer school experience and/or Boarding School experience (Desirable)
Previous residential work experience (Desirable)
Ability to work in a high pressured environment
Flexibility & Adaptability
